Letters from my Kids: William

You are worried about seeing him spend his early years in doing nothing. What! Is it nothing to be happy? Nothing to skip, play, and run around all day long? Never in his life will he be so busy again. ~Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Emile, 1762

My name is William Harper and I like monkeys. My favorite color is orange. I have one brother and sister. I like homeschooling because you get to do plenty of projects. My favorite thing to do is to ride my bike. I’d like to be a jet fighter when I grow up. I am 9 years old and I like to explore.

Letters from my Kids: Nathan

We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today. ~Stacia Tauscher

Hi, my name is Nathan and I like turtles. I am 7 and I like to do sports. My favorite color is green and I like to do art. I have a brother and sister and we have pets. When I grow up I want to fly a jet. I will start home school and I like home school because you get to do activities. I love my cow.

A Wonderful Couple

True love stories never have endings.  ~Richard Bach

My parents are amazing role models. They have taught us what it means to stick together. To love each other unconditionally. To never give up, no matter what. They have taught us that in the end, true love and friendship are what really matter. That nothing is more important than respect.

My parents have a beautiful marriage, and today they are celebrating 37 years together. 37 years of happiness. Wishing you many, many more.

Happy Anniversary!! We love you!

We’re all a little weird.  And life is a little weird.  And when we find someone
whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into
mutually satisfying weirdness – and call it love – true love.  ~Robert Fulghum,
True Love

Forever

We’re all a little weird.  And life is a little weird.  And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness – and call it love – true love.  ~Robert Fulghum, True Love

Happy 11th Anniversary, Rob! I love you more than you will ever know. Thank you for making my life so wonderful. I am grateful everyday that you chose me. Here’s to forever, My Love.

For Nathan

If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.

-Henry David Thoreau

This one is for Nathan. My unbelievably smart little boy. My big-hearted Punkin Head. My funny little man who cracks me up a dozen times a day. My sweet son who never gives up no matter how hard things are for him. Things aren’t always easy, they don’t always make sense, but you just keep on marching, keep on trying. You’re going great places, Nathan, and don’t ever let anyone tell you different.
