Happy Valentine’s Day!

Valentine’s Day is always so much fun. Normally I buy everyone a little stuffy and more candy than they need, but this year our family is doing a sugar challenge, so I had to get a little more creative. Since today is a holiday, we are technically allowed to consume sugar without it counting against us, but I still wanted to make the day a little healthier than I had in the past.

This is where Pinterest came into play. I simply searched “Valentine,” and then spent the next hour perusing some of the cutest ideas on the planet. I had quite a list of ideas, but to do them all would have been overkill, so I had to narrow it down. I then had to narrow it down even further once I realized that some of the things I would need would not be available in our little town.

The fun thing was that I got to make them a “Valentine” lunch with Awesome-sauce, “Wild” animal crackers, and an orange with a cute little message on it. Rob’s treats were a little more grown up, but with cashews and sushi, I think even he is looking forward to lunch today. πŸ™‚

Think you Pinterest for all the fun ideas! Wishing you all a Happy Valentine’s Day!!!
