Three Weeks

I have heard many times that it takes three weeks to make something a habit. So, for the past three weeks, I made it a point to post something every day. Some days I posted a picture at the last minute, almost forgetting about it before heading off to bed. Other times I actually thought about what I was going to post in advance. Most days were only pictures, but occasionally I actually added words! Not many, mind you, but more than I had been posting prior to 21 days ago.

I really enjoy blogging, but sometimes things get so hectic and I just don’t take the time to get online. It is my hope that I will be a little more regular with my posts, especially after this little three-week exercise. I still have a few things from last fall that I would like to share, but if I can stay a little more current, hopefully I will not feel so overwhelmed about how far behind I have fallen. Catching up is the hard part.

So, thank you for putting up with my silliness over the last few weeks. I really appreciate it. 🙂

Twenty-One

We woke this morning to another beautiful round of snow. Instead of just wandering around the Visitor Center like I did the last time it snowed, I decided to venture out onto the Main Loop Trail. This is a beautiful trail when it is dry, so under snow it was downright amazing. Felt like a new place entirely, even though I have lost track of how many times I have walked it. The park is closed today so I had the entire trail to myself, which was definitely a first.

It snowed until about 9:30 this morning. The sun has tried coming out a few times, but the clouds still seem to be winning at this point. It is brighter than it was earlier, though, so I think the sun may win the battle yet.

Eighteen

Elementary school is out at noon on Wednesdays, making it one of the best days of the week. Also on this day, the pool hosts Wacky Wednesday. They offer discount admission and a huge inflatable obstacle course. The twins and I try to go as often as we can. It is cheap entertainment, great exercise, and it helps fill the time until Liam is out of school at three. Today the twins took my waterproof camera into the pool with them. They took a lot (a lot…) of pictures and videos. I think the videos are a little too long to share on here, but some of their pictures turned out pretty cute. 🙂
