Photography 101: Street

Day 2…

I must confess that I was tempted to dig through some old travel photos for this one. We have been many a place with spectacular streets, surely one of them would be perfect for today’s topic. But alas, that is not the challenge (and after all, I did already ‘cheat’ yesterday…)

So I sat out in the cold this morning, patiently awaiting the arrival of the morning light, which comes very late around here, I might add. This is the little street that leads to our house. Except for the occasional porcupine, nothing crosses it. It is very quiet. Very peaceful. We can hear the train off in the distance, but no cars. No hustle and bustle. Just the coyotes for company.

Yeah, I really like this little street…

  1. That looks so beautifully peaceful. I love the sky – the rich golden light seeping into the blue, the few wisps of cloud. The more I look at it, the more I love it.

  2. Beautiful sunrise! I loved this street! It is very peaceful! So much better than a busy city street! And it leads to one of the most amazing families that I know!!! 🙂
