We have driven by the Two Medicine Dinosaur Center in Bynum many times, but never had a chance to visit because either they weren’t open or we just didn’t have the time to stop. They happend to be open yesterday when we passed by, so we stopped in for a visit.

After an hour or so in the museum, we decided that we weren’t ready to head home yet, so we headed to Missoula instead. We stopped at a fishing access site along the way so Rob could fish the Blackfoot River, one of his favorite rivers.

We arrived in Missoula rather late, so waited until this morning to go out in search of a small car. Unfortunately, our van had other plans, because he decided to turn on his check engine light, which is not exactly a good thing if you are trying to trade him in. So, feeling a little defeated, and not wanting to end our vacation that way, we decided to hike the “M” before heading back to Great Falls.

Unfortunately, our vacation is now officially over. We are back in Great Falls and I have to go back to work tomorrow. It was a wonderful break, though, and we look forward to the next time we are able to escape for a few days.

  1. poor old car! it did it’s best..however you do seem to have all had a great time in so many ways…so get the car fixed and then trade it in before something else happens. Love the pic of Rob and the kiddiwinks

    • Things always happen for a reason, right? We have no idea what exactly that reason was, but are trying not to dwell on it too much. We will just have to see how things go. They never go as planned anyway…
