A New Look

We had the time off but were unable to go anywhere since Rob was on-call, so we decided to spend the New Year weekend spiffing up our little house. The RV is in really good shape for being 15 years old, but the carpet was a little… icky, and having a 90-pound dog lying around on it all day didn’t seem to be helping it at all. So we decided to tear it all out and replace it with hard floor. While we were at it, we opted to paint the walls. It is amazing how much better the place looks after a fresh coat of paint, some peel-and-stick flooring, and a pretty little stained-glass window cling! I’m lovin’ it!!!

William is a great helper.

A fresh coat of paint in the living room.

Measuring out some new flooring.

New flooring and a pretty coat of paint.

The old kitchen border and dingy looking walls.

New and improved kitchen.

Beautiful stained-glass effect on our front door.

Pretty new flooring.

My favorite view of the kitchen with the new floor and paint.

All that is left to do is paint the bathroom, but I haven’t decided on a color yet. That will be a project for another day.
