Heading Home

This morning my parents had to head for home. We had a really nice time dragging them all over the area, but I am sure they are happy to be home now so they can rest! Visits with them always go by way too fast, but I sure am grateful for the time we get to spend together.

Thank you so much for the wonderful visit. We love you and look forward to next time!

  1. That is the sad part, parting again. I used to be in tears when I said goodbye at Gatwick Airport. I really did not want to leave my family but now after all these years I am happy to go home again . I know that I shall soon return.

It is always lovely to see relatives again and to catch up on the news.

I am glad that you all enjoyed your time together

    • I guess I am just a big baby, because I always cry. My brain knows that we will see each other again soon, but it is not enough to convince my heart that it will be soon enough. It’s our fault, though, we are the ones who moved.

  2. We had a great time visiting with all of you and seeing some of your beautiful countryside. In fact, on the way home your father said he could live up in that neck of the woods. Not on the plains, further up into the mountains. It is a very pretty state. We love you all so much and look forward to our next visit. Maybe we’ll get home without any distractions! We got some more pictures of pelicans on our way home. We took Recreation Rd for a little ways. We’ll be sending you some shots. Back to blogging again! Love you guys!

    • It is a pretty state, isn’t it? We really like it, though I wouldn’t mind closer mountains, either. I am looking forward to some more pelican pictures, I bet you got some great ones. And yes, it’s back to blogging once again. 🙂
