Time for a Trim

Alright, this will be my last post from our vacation and then I will move onto other things. Honest…

Catheryn and I were long overdue for haircuts, so my mom made us an appointment with her hairstylist. She makes house visits, so we arranged to meet at Grandma’s house. Catheryn went first and had her hair cut up to her shoulders. Her hair is so fine and wispy that it tangles very easily, resulting in her avoiding a brush and comb all together. The length is perfect on her, and it is much easier to take care of, making life easier for both of us.

When she was all finished, it was my turn to hop up in the chair. My hair has been pretty much the same length for so long, that I was becoming desperate for something a little bit different. When all was said and done, 10-11 inches were cut off.

I am enjoying the shorter do. It is so much easier to take care of and I use a lot less shampoo. I think Catheryn and I are ready to take on summer!

  1. I like your shorter length, too. You both look very cute in your new dos! Did you send in your pony tails to Locks of Love yet?

    • I believe they sell the hair they can’t use in order to fund the program, so either way it should help out. I don’t think they will tell me what they did with it, though.
