O’ Happy Day

At our old house, we had tulips and crocus and daffodils planted in front of the house and around the trees. I always knew we had made it through winter when my little beauties started poking up through the dirt. Unfortunately, our current house has… nothing. There are no flowers. Nothing to come up in the spring to let us know we have made it through the long, cold winter.

But guess what? Our neighbors are gardeners. And guess what else? I spotted a little treasure in their yard today. A little treasure so grand that it made me squeal with delight. A treasure that said, spring has come.

First Flowers of 2011!

  1. It’s nice to know spring has arrived in your neck of the woods. It has been nice and sunny for the most part here but still chilly. It will be hot soon and then we’ll all be complaining about it. Never satisfied!
