On Facebook yesterday, Montana posted: I can’t wait for summer to arrive in Montana so that I can…
Oh, this one got me excited. It started me thinking about all the wonderful summer activities that I enjoy. There were many responses to the post, everything from camping to fishing to visiting Glacier. With so many things to do, how could one possibly pick a favorite? In my book, it’s impossible. Either way, with the best months of the year just around the corner, I thought it would be the perfect time to make a list of some of the things I am most looking forward to.
Fishing. Camping. Playing at the lake. Exploring State Parks. Swimming. Hiking in Glacier. Taking pictures. Going on road trips. Huckleberry milkshakes. Soaking up the sunshine. Playing at the park. Visiting my parents. Bike rides. Flying kites. And of course, NO SCHOOL!
And to the person who replied to the post with Montana has a summer? The answer is Yes. And it is such a beautiful one that it makes the nine months of winter worth it. (Although I admit, it is much easier to say that coming out of winter than it is going into it…)
