The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center’s “Best of the International Wildlife Film Festival” is in full swing. Every Thursday for six weeks they are featuring a different wildlife documentary. Tonight was the fourth week and they were showing Bear Wars. It was a great documentary about the controversial reintroduction of grizzly bears into the Bitterroot Mountains. This was the first film we had managed to make it to, and we really enjoyed it.
Next week they are showing Thunderbeasts, which is a National Geographic documentary about America’s last wild bison herd in Yellowstone National Park. We plan on attending that one as well. The films are all free with a donation to the food bank. If you happen to be in town, you should check it out.
