The trees are almost bare. The leaves that were hanging on until the last-minute had a little help falling off today. That help came from the wind. It blew all day. Anything not nailed down is probably in North Dakota by now. This evening, on the way home from basketball practice, the wind-rippled clouds made the most beautiful sky. Nathan thought it looked like a truck had been driving around on the clouds. Rob thought it looked like crimped hair from the 80’s. Either way, the texture was amazing and the coloring even more so. The bite in the air today was a reminder that winter is in fact on its way. Overall, we had a beautiful start to November, but it is definitely time to break out the mittens and hats and heavy jackets.
