Welcome Fall

Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all. ~Stanley Horowitz

It is no secret that I love summer.  But inevitably, it must end.  As I sit here trying to think of what to write about fall, I find myself thinking not of the beginning of a new season, but the end of another.  Rob’s suggestion was to think of all the things that I like about fall.  So, here goes…

  • Pumpkins
  • Excellent photo opportunities
  • Halloween and trick-or-treating with the kids
  • Leaf piles
  • No more mosquitos
  • Beautiful scenery
  • Thanksgiving with my family
  • Thick blankets and fuzzy socks

There are many things about fall that I really do enjoy.  I have always been hung up on the one thing I don’t like – the fact that it is followed by a long, dark, cold winter.  Sometimes we just need a little encouragement to break out of a rut and look at things from a different angle.  If you can’t change it, you may as well embrace it!  Thank you, Rob!!
